Whereas Generation I HEX ezCANs were made for BMW only, Generation II HEX ezCANs are made not just for CAN-bus-equipped BMWs, but also for a wide variety of CAN-bus-equipped Aprilia, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Husqvarna, KTM, Triumph and Yamaha models as well.

No matter which motorcycle make you want a Generation II HEX ezCAN for, here’s what to do:

  1. Go to the HEX ezCAN Installation Guides page.
  2. Click the box with your chosen motorcycle make on it.
  3. The page you land on will show you a list of all motorcycle models the relevant HEX ezCAN is compatible with.

To take advantage of the upgrade offer, complete the Submit and Upgrade Offer Request form at the bottom of this page.

All compulsory fields in the form (marked with asterisks) must be filled to qualify you for an upgrade, and to grant the $100 discount on a Generation II HEX ezCAN of your choice. If you would like to know how we process your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Here is how the upgrade process works:

  1. Our team will be notified of your request, and will contact you within 1 to 2 business days.
  2. Your Generation I HEX ezCAN will be subject to confirmation of eligibility for the upgrade.
  3. You will be issued a coupon code. This code must be entered on our international online store as part of the process of ordering your new Generation II HEX ezCAN.
  4. After your Generation I HEX ezCAN has been removed from the bike it is fitted to, our team will ask you to provide evidence that you have successfully and safely destroyed the Generation I HEX ezCAN. This can be done by cutting the battery cables (positive and negative) at the point where they enter the main body of the device.

The full Terms & Conditions of the Generation I-to-Generation II upgrade offer are as follows:

  • Coupon codes issued for the $100 discount will be valid for 14 days from their date of issue.
  • Coupon codes will only be valid for the correspondence email address you provide in the Upgrade Offer Request form.
  • Only one coupon code will be issued per Generation I HEX ezCAN device.
  • A single coupon code is only redeemable against the HEX ezCAN device variant you request through the Upgrade Offer Request form.
  • Only one new Generation II HEX ezCAN will be supplied per Generation I HEX ezCAN identified and destroyed as part of this upgrade offer.
  • Shipping, import duties, and taxes are the customer’s responsibility.
  • This offer is available directly through Hex Innovate, or through any authorized distributor of Hex Innovate products participating in the upgrade program.
  • Coupon codes issued under the terms of this upgrade offer cannot be redeemed in conjunction with any other HEX Innovate offer or promotion.
  • Coupon codes issued under the terms of this upgrade offer cannot be exchanged for vouchers, or used as a discount on any other HEX Innovate product.
  • If evidence is not received by Hex Innovate that the Generation I HEX ezCAN being upgraded has been duly destroyed within 30 days of the upgrade order date, the new HEX ezCAN received by the customer will be disabled.
